I cannot stress enough what a strong core, your midsection of your body, will help benefit you in whatever you are doing. Having a stronger core will improve your balance and posture, which aids in helping keep your back healthy throughout your lifetime. One of the many core exercises I do is referred to as the “russian twist.” It works primarily your obliques and the main job of the obliques is to help keep your lower back strong and give it stability. Many people suffer from back pain and especially in their lower back. By doing this exercise, you will experience a stronger lower back and have better posture from strengthening your core. Whether if you are an athlete or just looking to to keep your body healthy, this is definitely the exercise to do.
