hip adductors are the muscles in your hip that are located in the inner portion of your hip. This makes sense knowing that I talked about the hip abductors in previous posts. In the machine with the abductors, you focused on pushing the weight out on the machine, but in this exercise you will perform the opposite motion. For instance, you will put the machine on a setting that makes it already out, making the user push it back to the inside in order to work your inner portion of the hip. The hip adductor machine has helped me in many ways, especially when I go running to help protect my muscles from injury in my legs, but this is not what all you should be doing on leg days.
