I have not yet touched on what cardio workouts are good to do, but sprints are by far my favorite things to do. Sprints demand a lot of effort for a short burst of speed and can really test just how good of shape you are in. I always make sure to do a full warm up before actually doing sprints, because sustaining a pulled hamstring can take weeks to heal and can be painful. There are many different types of sprint workouts to do. For example, one that I love to do is to sprint to the 20 yard line five times, 40 four times, 60 three times, 80 two times, and 100 yard line once if you can use a football field to do it on.
