A squat is a great workout to perform and should be marked to do regularly if one is serious about becoming stronger and more fit. When the squat is performed by seeing the diagrams below, it works the most major muscle groups in one’s body at one time. Imagine all the times one squats to sit down on the couch or squat to get off the couch all in one day it would add up to an enormous number. Furthermore, by being able to perform this exercise correctly, it will help keep one’s back better by having stronger gluteus maximus, or glutes, to support one’s back. Essentially, the squat has helped me to acheive quicker times when I run and when I am walking a golf course in a tournament up hills it is no problem.
